Happy Book Birthday to Jennifer Shaw Wolf and BREAKING BEAUTIFUL!!

Happy Book Birthday to Jennifer Shaw Wolf in the release of her amazing novel, BREAKING BEAUTIFUL today!!! Jenn is in my local SCBWI-South Sound group and we've been cheering her on since she first submitted her story to agents.   Here's the summary from Goodreads:

Allie lost everything the night her boyfriend, Trip, died in a horrible car accident—including her memory of the event. As their small town mourns his death, Allie is afraid to remember because doing so means delving into what she’s kept hidden for so long: the horrible reality of their abusive relationship.

When the police reopen the investigation, it casts suspicion on Allie and her best friend, Blake, especially as their budding romance raises eyebrows around town. Allie knows she must tell the truth. Can she reach deep enough to remember that night so she can finally break free? Debut writer Jennifer Shaw Wolf takes readers on an emotional ride through the murky waters of love, shame, and, ultimately, forgiveness.

Doesn't that sound awesome??  Yay for Jennifer!

Also, I want to give a big shout of CONGRATULATIONS to Casey McCormick and Natalie Aquirre of LITERARY RAMBLES, who made the Writer's Digest 101 Best Websites for Writers in the May/June issue. They're number thirteen under "Everything Agents.  If you're not familiar with Literary Rambles you should definitely check their website out! They are a tremendous resource for authors, agents and overall publishing news and information, plus they have great interviews and giveaways!!

In other news...I'll have some pictures tomorrow from my recent trips to the Texas Library Association conference and our regional SCBWI conference. And.....I should be revealing the cover for THE TORN WING in the next week - yay!

Finally - don't forget about the ARC giveaway of Kendare Blake's GIRL OF NIGHTMARES.  The contest ends on April 30th.  Go here for all the details.

Happy Tuesday!
