I'm on to book five, HARRY POTTER AND THE ORDER OF THE PHOENIX, in my Harry Potter marathon. I have to say, I love these stories just as much this time around as the first time. Jo Rowling has such an amazing and enviable ability to completely immerse the reader in this magical world and I'm so happy to be back!
What are you reading this weekend?
Also, check back on the blog this week - I'll be announcing a giveaway....
Happy Sunday!

I know exactly what you mean! But I'm still on Goblet of Fire...
ReplyDeleteLucky you! That means you've still got three great books left to be read!! ;-)
DeleteOne of these days, I'm going to go back and re-read the whole series. I think it would be a lot of fun.
ReplyDeleteThat's what I kept saying, Alissa. It is SO much fun to be back totally immersed in that world. Don't wait! The train is leaving Platform 9-3/4 at 11:00! :-)
DeleteI'm reading the series for the first time and am on the same book. My boyfriend is a HP fanatic and while I do adore the movies, I have no idea why I never read the books. I'm glad to be reading them after seeing the movie - they add so much more to them.
ReplyDelete- Jessica @ Book Sake
Hi Jessica! EXACTLY!! That's what I kept telling my daughter back when the books were first coming out. She was not an early reader and I told her in 4th grade that she could see one of the newly releasing movies until she read the book. It was a turning point in her life! Now she is a voracious reader.
DeleteI love the HP movies - I think they've done a phenomenal job in creating the world - but there's nothing better than the books. :-)
